Religion, how do you take it?

Dear Masses
I had once thought that religion was your opium. I have since come to wonder which of the two really was more addicting and/or stupeficant, and thus that I might be well to rethink the whole notion.

Do any of you have experiences of either or both which you would be willing to share?

What is your favorite way of ingesting religion?
Is the bong or the televangelist most effective?
Would you say that the average fundamentalist is more of a helpless and pathetic soul sucking on the lifeblood of the body politic than the average opium user?
This is the conclusion I am beginning to reach after careful study.

Furthermore it is becoming quite apparent that there are many more fundamentalists present in modern society than I had assumed...which is even scarier still.

Perhaps you enlightened persons can suggest a few psychoactives which would more aptly serve as metaphor in this formulation?
Or would you prefer me to shutup whilst Idol is on?

One is left wondering exactly what the purpose of perpetuating the conflicting relationship of politics and religion is...Religion is the LEADNIG CAUSE OF DEATH IN THE WORLD..
Sex guns and drugs are the LEADING INDUSTRIES IN THE WORLD..

Men with financial vested interests in various business enterprises that contribute to the aforementioned industries are LEADING THE WORLD..

Mr John Howard has put forward an idea of implementing chaplains at any school which requests them in order to provide spiritual guidance to students...whilst simultaneously claiming the nations schools are run by left wing idealogues.

Odd these two shifts seem to bear a vague correlation..perhaps even a direct indication of what John 'accountant who lived at home till he was nearly 40' Howard has envisioned for Australia...

No doubt many will have an opinion so please send all responses written long-hand to J. H Christ c/o the Pentagon.

p.s. I am accepting no further correspondence from that oaf Debnam. His letters are like a seltzer enema after a night of drinking Bob Hawkes' home-made beer, which I only drink to humor the bugger. I will humor Satan no longer.
The bible is written metaphorically...He ain't no fucking devil..They say the devils ultimate goal is to lead people away from the love of God — to lead them to fallacies which God opposes....

The modern world is perpetuated by fear...
Wear this or you won't look like that
Do this or you won't be as cool as them
Make this much or you wont be successful

Do you really think Lucifer would come bearing a pitchfork and flaming horns or do you think he may have taken a slightly more subtle approach?
